Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie, born on November 24 1981, is an American political commentator. She was previously a presidential hopeful as a host of American television at MSNBC as well as a regular contributor of The Huffington Post, former co-host and host of the show The Hill's Rising together with Saagarenjeti. Enjeti and Ball announced their intention to leave the show in May 2021 and start Breaking Points, a new independent venture with Krystal as well as Saagar. Ball co-hosts the show Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. Her guest appearances on the show include Fox News, CNN and Fox News. As of the year 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball is able to attribute her new interest in politics due to her experience as a new mother during the 2008 primaries and also watching the results of the 2008 US presidential election during her time in Jordan. She saw the effects that it had on the citizens of her home country and was inspired to appreciate the global impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was chosen by the Democratic Party to represent Virginia's 1stCongressional District in the 2010 election. However, she lost to Rob Wittman. From June 2012 to July 2015, she was host of The Cycle, an MSNBC show The Cycle. She founded the People's House Project, an organization that promotes Democratic causes in May 2017.
